Laura is a South Buffalo viewer who sent us an email... she wanted to test a product.
So, we brought the Fasta Pasta over. We bought it at www.freshfinds.com for $14.95. It promises to cook up your pasta in the microwave, saving you time and energy!
Laura says she always looking for ways to save time in the kitchen. We followed the very simple instructions. All of the directions and portion size measurements come in a booklet. First, we decided to cook some elbow macaroni. We put the pre-measured pasta in and then the water to the recommended measurements. We popped it in the microwave and in 14 minutes... perfectly cooked pasta. The product serves as the strainer too ... you just put the lid on the the water comes through the holes. Laura's son, Bobby tasted the pasta and agreed... cooked to perfection.
We also tried spaghetti and same deal -- cooked to perfection.
Our tester says this product does make it easier to cook pasta -- just put it in the microwave and that's it. No watching. No stirring.
Laura says two thumbs up!
